How to Launch a Digital Product in 30 Days or Less

If you’ve been sitting on an idea for a digital product—whether it’s a recipe bundle, a language guide, a travel planner, or a printable workbook—this is your sign to get it out into the world. And no, it doesn’t need to take six months and a marketing team.

You can launch something real, helpful, and sellable in 30 days or less. Here's how I do it, and how you can too—step by step, no fluff.

Week 1: Plan It Like You Mean It

  • Pick your niche: Who’s it for? Be specific. “Busy moms who want dinner on the table in 20 minutes” is better than “people who like food.”

  • Choose ONE product idea: You don’t need a library of downloads. Start with one great thing.

  • Decide the format: PDF guide? Canva template? Audio download? Video class? Know how your people like to consume content.

  • Set your sales goal: Aim for “scrappy but profitable.” Even 10 sales is a win to start.

🧠 Bonus tip: Use ChatGPT to help brainstorm titles, bullet points, or outline your sections. Don’t overthink it—just get clear.

Week 2: Create It (Yes, It Can Be Fast)

  • Outline your content first: Use bullet points, not full paragraphs. Get the structure done before you try to make it pretty.

  • Design in Canva (or use a plug-and-play template): Make it visual, readable, and easy to use.

  • Keep it simple: Your product doesn’t need to be huge. A 5-page guide that solves a specific problem can sell better than a 100-page “ultimate” book.

🎯 Focus on DONE, not perfect. Polish can come later.

Week 3: Set Up the Shop

  • Choose a platform: Etsy, Gumroad, Squarespace, Payhip, or even a simple checkout page on ConvertKit.

  • Write your product description: Keep it clear, fun, and benefit-driven. Tell people what they’ll get, how it helps them, and why it’s worth it.

  • Upload your product + set the price: Start with something accessible (like $7–$15), unless it’s packed with value.

  • Test your checkout flow: Pretend you’re the customer. Is it smooth?

🚨 If it takes longer than 48 hours to get this live, you’re probably overthinking it.

Week 4: Launch & Promote

  • Send an email to your list: Even if it’s 12 people. Start talking about your offer.

  • Create 5–7 pieces of content: Think Pinterest pins, Instagram Reels, blog posts, or short videos showing how it helps.

  • Post on relevant Facebook groups or forums (if allowed)

  • Add the link to your bio, your email signature, your blog—everywhere

🎉 You launched! Now rinse, tweak, and repeat.

Final Thoughts: Done Beats Dreamed

Launching a digital product doesn’t need to be overwhelming. It doesn’t require a team, a massive email list, or months of prep.

Just one idea. One solution. And a plan to get it in front of the people who need it.

Start messy. Start small. Just start.
